WEEDING OF SHRUBS AND FLOWER BEDS
Weeds aren’t just a problem in lawns; they can be equally bothersome in shrub and flower beds as well. Crystal Lake Landscaping has the products and expertise to keep these unwelcome invaders under control. Using a combination of pre- and post-emergent weed control products, we can keep crabgrass, broadleaf weeds and other unwanted vegetation from gaining a foothold in your beds. You can be sure that we’ll use these products only when and where they’re needed, and regular inspections will help us to determine if additional applications are necessary.
SPRING AND FALL CLEAN-UP
Crystal Lake Landscaping offers clean-up services twice a year to help keep your lawn and landscape looking their best at all times. During our spring clean-up, we’ll rake leaves and debris from lawn areas and clean out all shrub beds. Driveways and walkways are also swept clean. During our fall clean-up, leaves and debris are cleared from lawn and bed areas, driveways and walkways are swept clean, and perennials and ornamentals are cut as needed.

CORE AERATION
Core aeration is one of the most valuable services we can provide for your turf. With this service, we’ll use an aerator to remove cores (or plugs) of soil about ½" wide and 3" long across your whole lawn. This will let moisture, nutrients and oxygen reach your turf’s roots more easily. Aeration will also help to break up the thatch layer (which can block water and nutrients and provide a home for insects and disease if it gets too thick). The cores that the aerator pulls out will quickly decompose back into your yard, keeping your grass from losing nutrients and helping to break down thatch even more.
INSTALLATION OF SEASONAL COLOR
Finishing touches are usually the deciding factors that make or break all sorts of projects.
